Various labs, DC motors, servos etc. nothing heart throbbing.
An interface with which to conduct an urban symphony. samples from distinct locations around the city are captured and encapsulated with in a metal container used to control it’s volume.
Here are serial labs I and II, with some added code on the processing site, just for the fun of it.
I have reused my stupid pet trick as a controller on both labs.
My stupid pet trick started at the junk shelf, where I happened to find an old Zip drive, I liked the idea of having a clean translucent case to hide my dirty electronic circuitry crafting skills. I knew I wanted it to have one obvious control and others which are hidden and discrete, that effect […]
Here I learned that LED’s of different colors also have different resistance.
A camera in which your hands are the view finder. The the glove is equipped with a camera lens, and location transmitters which allow calculation of the final image. and each time there are in fact two cameras directed at opposite sides (one on each hand). An image can be taken either by pressing the […]
Or what would your LED do if it were sacred of the dark? Building upon the lab example and adding a cell sensor into the mix, plus some simple programming. The trick was in calibrating the values correctly in order to achieve a pleasing effect.
Every attempt I make at cracking this puzzle seems to get me further away from any sort of solution and closer to remotely comprehend what not to ask of my Arduino. Having no real experience in programming, I keep attempting the impossible 2 actions in one to no avail.
It’s very satisfying to see those LED’s switch to my command, it’s even nicer to see how sometimes even digital has some shades of gray. Moved on to the combination lock, deep cold unfamiliar water.
